Mission and Vision

Acacia Lodge No. 163 is an fraternal organization dedicated to the cultivation of friendship, relief, and truth among its members. The Lodge strives to promote ethical conduct, personal development, and service to the community through fellowship, study, and charitable activity, guided by the timeless principles of brotherly love, relief, and truth.

History

Founded to uphold the values of Masonry within the local community, Acacia Lodge No. 163 has a long-standing tradition of fostering moral character and civic engagement. Through generations of members, the Lodge has supported education, philanthropic initiatives, and mentorship programs, adapting to the needs of the times while preserving the core tenets of the Craft.

Officers and Governance

  • Worshipful Master: Serves as the presiding officer and focal point of leadership.
  • Senior Warden: Assists the Worshipful Master and oversees charitable and lodge activities.
  • Junior Warden: Coordinates hospitality, member guidance, and welfare within the membership.
  • Treasurer: Manages financial affairs, dues, and fundraising activities.
  • Secretary: Maintains records, meeting minutes, correspondence, and membership rosters.
  • Deacons and Stewards: Support the conduct of meetings and the administration of lodge duties.

Meetings

  • Additionally, regular meetings are held monthly, on the first and third Thursday with additional communications as required by the Lodge.
  • Dinner Time is at 6:30 prior to each meeting
  • Additionally, meeting time is typically in the evening, commencing at 7:30 PM, subject to confirmation by the Officer Board.
  • Furthermore, each meeting includes ceremonial observation, business, and opportunities for fellowship and study.

Membership

Membership is open to men of good character who seek personal improvement, brotherhood, and service to the community. Requirements commonly include:

  • A belief in a Supreme Being or the Great Architect of the Universe.
  • A commitment to moral and ethical conduct.
  • Respect for the laws of the land and the principles of Freemasonry.
  • Endorsement by participating members and completion of the requisite process, which may include interviews and degrees as defined by the Lodge and Grand Lodge authorities.
